About this module:

Even in the midst of anguish (which can be a part of the caregiver’s journey), there is a need to practice gratitude. Gratitude renews our spirit, re-wires our nervous system, and opens fresh avenues for us to experience joy and connection. Gratitude amplifies joy and reminds us that even when life is hard, good surrounds us. Even when despair is pressing in, there is something we can be grateful for.

Scientifically, gratitude has many impacts on the human spirit. It relieves anxiety, restores calm, and permits a fresh perspective on the world. Gratitude is a portal to many important emotions, and gratitude practices are tools we all need as caregivers to survive the journey! In this module, we’ll explore sever kinds of gratitude practices you can incorporate into your daily life.
